BOMBSHELL Lipstick of the Day by Cover Girl

Today's lipstick of the day is bright to you by Cover Girl!

    Here I'm wearing is made by Cover Girl and goes by the name of Bombshell Explosion #327. A very deep hot fusha pink. Very girly, very Bombshell. The name fits it. I really wouldn't say I'm the "Bombshell" type but it still works on me. I'm pretty girly ;-)
   Top pic is soon after I put it on. Bottom is how well it lasted with out being refreshed. I ate popcorn, coffee, and lead music at church and it still looks good. Cover Girl is impressive!     I don't know how old this blouse is but it's at least pre-1990's. I love the pretty blouses from the 70's but so many of them where made with polyester. Ugh! Lately I have been trying to get some cotton blouses in my closet. However this one is cotton and belonged to my mom.
    I have also worn this blouse in the other following looks...

    They got me on this one! I don't know what the brand is for this skirt! I bought it new at Sears +Sears  many-many years ago so I know it's nothing rare but I can't read the font they used on the tag!!! And typing in what it looks like isn't helping me much... anybody have a clue?
    I bought it around the early 2000's. It's a little large on me but wearable. Skirts from that time had some interesting cuts to them as does this one.

L.A. Colors Shadow's Dance Shadow



After getting home from dance.
No makeup other then the Eye Shadow.

 L.A. Colors Shimmering Loose Eye Shadow  "Lollipop". I got a good deal on Black Friday thinking I could use it as a blush due to the pink'ish tone. I have a very pink under tone and use to have a hard time finding a blush that looked natural on me. Lately though they have shifted to all blushes being pink. Anyway... I'm going off topic here.... sorry....

 I got home from dance one night and looked in the mirror and was quite surprised at the reflection! Before heading to class I threw on a little of this shadow. I have seen these before but I found this in a clearance box earlier last fall. While I have used it as blush I decided to try it as an eyeshadow on a whim.

  I head to class which was an hour long and involves a fair amount of sweat!

   I look in the mirror and the eye shadow was STILL THERE! Barely moved at all!!! Felt I should share this amazing feat! Only shadow that has performed anything close to this is Maybelline's Color Tattoo.

Quacker Factory: Fun in the Snow

   My mom has been a little bit of a Quacker Factory fan for years but never actually had one in her wardrobe. So she was quite happy when she got her hands on this one.
  She even remembered seeing it on air on QVC years back and was one of her favorites. Don't ya love it what things like that?!

   This sweater is made of a cotton and the snowflakes are done with an Angora rabbit. (60% cotton/40% acrylic; trim 59% nylon/38% angora rabbit hair/3% lambs wool)

   When I first saw it I thought something was wrong with the snowflakes but it's suppose to be that way. I have a hat made with rabbit that is fuzzy as well. Using it like this is an interesting design. It looks like it came in at least three colors, red, pink, blue, and black, I personally like the black the most.


   I do not know what the original retail price on the sweater is but you can pick one up on E-bay for around $20-$30.

   Quacker Factory is sold on QVC +QVC . The original creator of the company, Jeanne Bice died in 2011. This line had it's own look to it that other novelty sweaters did not. After the original designer's death the line has started losing the feel it had. Another reason my mom was so happy as it was from when Quacker Factory was making their best designs.
